Lincoln Technical Institute was established in Newark, New Jersey in 1946 to provide job training for the skilled trades. Today, Lincoln has 43 campuses in 17 states. It offers diploma, associate and bachelor’s degree programs in everything from culinary arts and massage therapy to networking. The medical assisting program is offered through the Health Sciences division.

Programs vary by campus. Lincoln Technical Institute's Fern Park and Seminole, Florida campuses are accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
